FDP's organized by the Institutions of repute, the following proposal
for academic & duty leave was considered and approved :

To encourage such participation, the registration free as per actual
but not exceeding a limiting amount of Rs.1000/- will be reimbursed
by the Institution on providing the receipt for the same.

in summer/winter non-academic period. The faculty availing the same
can avail half of his/her summer/winter slot.
Faculty Development Programme 'Wipro Mission 10x' at CT Group
CT group of institutions hosted a Faculty Development Program (FDP) titled "wipro Mission 10x" organized by Punjab Technical University (PTU) in collaboration with Wipro. The Five day Faculty empowerment workshop was organized to polish and train the faculty in innovative teaching and learning skills.
Mission 10x is a quantum innovation project for enhancing employability of engineering graduates in India through innovation. The vision is to increase the employability of students by 10 times. The Program enables college faculty with new and alternate training methodologies that provides input to a faculty to become a mentor, guide and a facilitator in the class and thus prepare their students to become more employable. The facilitators from engineering background who get deprived of any formal training on teaching were introduced to different teaching aids and methodologies which can be used in class room so that the conventional teaching gets transformed to innovative teaching
The participating faculty appreciated the training given and the quality, content and method of delivery was remarkable. Ms.Shailja, Mr.Pardeep Sen and Mr.Nitin Deshpandey were the lead trainers from Wipro team. Dr.Balkar Singh, Director-Examinations and Mr.Navdeepak Sandhu, Training and Placement Officer from Punjab Technical University (PTU) appreciated the efforts and encouraged the participants and trainers with their presence.
S.Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman, CT Group appreciated the participation of the faculty in the program and emphasizing the importance of such Faculty Development Programs said that these programs are a great help in taking the teaching methodology and platform to a new level.
Mr.Manbir Singh, Managing Director said that as the faculty is the major reserve from where the knowledge and wisdom is channelized to our students, it is must that they should be made aware of the innovative teaching skills.
Dr.Manoj Kumar, Group Director, CT Group thanked PTU and team from Wipro for knowledgeable and applicable training workshop and wished to have more such endeavors for faculty in times to come.
