B.A. /B.Com. LLB
When you opt for this course, you fast track your entry into the legal profession. This dual five-year integrated degree course enables you to gain a graduate degree in Arts/Commerce as well as a graduate degree in Law simultaneously over the duration of the course.

The applicant must have passed 10+2 examination of Punjab School Education Board or any other equivalent examination (such as 11+1 ’A’ level in Senior School Leaving Certificate Course) from a recognized University of India or outside or from a Senior Secondary Board or equivalent, constituted or recognized by the Union or by a State Government or from any equivalent institution from a foreign county recognized by the government or that country for the purpose of issue of qualifying certificate on successful completion of the course securing not less than 45% marks in case of general category applicants and 40% of the total marks in case of SC/ST applicants.

B.Com. LLB
10+2 with Commerce/ Mathematics/ Economics with minimum 45% marks in case of General category and 40% marks in case of SC/ST categories of the aggregate.

Bachelor degree of Guru Nanak Dev University or a degree recognized as equivalent with at least 45% marks in aggregate (40% for SC/ST).

Our library is well-stocked library with Law books, Back volumes and Current law journals. It is spacious enough to cater the existing needs also accommodate resources and services for future requirements. There is a continuous effort to update and add study material resources.


Computing facilities form an integral part of any Institution. CTIL has computer labs which is air-conditioned and fully equipped with adequate number of terminals with latest configuration .The whole campus is Wi-Fi with 247 internet connectivity.

A world class Moot Court hall designed like a court room for the purpose of training and conducting Moot Court competitions. It helps the law students in perfecting their legal analytical, research and writing skills .By participating in this process, they become more comfortable arguing in front of judges.


The Legal Aid Clinic seeks to impart practical knowledge of law to students. The Clinic exists with the sole aim of bridging the gap between what law promises to offer and the actual realities of law. It follows the model of good governance through citizen participation, which believes that good governance will come about only when citizens at all levels of our democracy effectively participate. The aim of starting the Clinic was not only to bring future lawyers face to face with the harsh realities of law, but also by giving ourselves the opportunity to use and implement the law even before entering the professional world.



The Department has a modern Language Laboratory with state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment to aid in imparting language skills. The Laboratory is effectively utilized by students for various self-enhancement and soft skill development activities. Students who are generally weak in language can have sufficient ear training in the language lab. It aims at confidence-building among students for interactions and presentations. The basic purpose of the lab is to provide students a platform to enhance language skills, conversation skills, communication skills and to practice soft skills. 


A well-equipped Seminar Hall serves as the venue for the regular conferences, workshops and seminars that are part of the learning process at CTIL. The Institute setup with the objective of enhancing quality of education, dedicates itself to implementing continuous improvement in standards.


HOSTEL AND MESS – A thriving residential hostel and community of creative and accomplished people from around the world.
Separate Hostel facility is available for Boys and Girls. Aesthetically designed, the hostel blocks are spread around the campus. The hostels are interconnected, mostly in blocks of three. Dedicated mess facilities and round the clock canteen facilities are available in the hostels. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is available and the pan-Indian menu is managed by the student body.
