Education and training are the key players in the field of economic competitiveness. The demand for Management Education will continue to grow. India is facing challenges form global competition, and total quality is a path to competitive advantage in the present day scenario. The competition from both Indian and International Business Schools is growing and is likely to accelerate. The quality of faculty, teaching and research work in Indian business schools is likely to improve, because of pressure of market forces. A professional approach in management education implies that a student should acquire an array of knowledge that could help him to analyze business, organizational and human problems and to develop a set of ethical norms and personal skills for carrying out the management task. In my opinion, role of a teacher in a professional institute is a little bit different and difficult as compared to academic colleges because "DEVELOPMENTS IN THE FIELD OF TECHNOLOGY ARE SUCH THAT THE LATEST TODAY BECOMES OBSOLETE TOMORROW." But in CT Institute of Management Studies we are following the pedagogy 'IF YOU HAVE THE WINGS TO DREAM….., WE SCHOLAR THE POTENTIAL TO ACHIEVE.' I have firm faith that CTIMS is a better option for shaping the destiny of management students. I welcome new entrants in CTIMS and wish them a bright future.
