Oracle Workforce Development program Oracle Academic Initiative specifically targets partnership with the higher education community including Oracle software, state-of-the-art Oracle curriculum, faculty training, and certification resources. The OAI mission is to enable colleges and universities to deliver industry-relevant and marketable Oracle skills to their students as an enhancement to a standard degree program of study.

IBM Centre of Excellence CT has been identified as an IBM Centre of excellence. This collaboration with IBM offers open standards; open source and IBM technologies and educational resources to help faculty and students stay current with the IT industry. It enables the Institute to provide the students access to IBM software through the IBM University Relations. Periodical workshops on IBM DB2, IBM Web Sphere, TIVOLI and other technologies are conducted in the campus.

During the term of this Agreement, IBM India P Ltd shall conduct Faculty development programs and Student development programs, free of cost. The Faculty who undergone IBM's Faculty development program, on successful completion will be deemed as "Subject Matter Experts" in the respective area. They would then need to train students on their area of expertise. CT shall work with IBM in advance & identify the Faculty development program & Student development program in advance.

IBM will also conduct certification oriented training program for the Faculty & students and guide them towards free product certification.

IBM will provide all IBM Software required for the training programs through the WW Academic Initiative. This software are used strictly for training & enablement purposes for students & faculty members of CT.
