Annoucement of "Manjit Kaur Memorial Scholarship" for meritorious students of B.Tech,Bpharma and MBA - First year (session 2011-12)
The Management of CT Group of Institutions has always emphasized the important role of measures to ensure excelency in the academic programmes. To recognize the meritorious students who intend to enter in CT Group as a new member of our family with perspective of overall excellence in Professional Education and bright career for realizing their dreams. The Management is pleased to introduce the following Scholarship schemes under "MANJIT KAUR MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME" for the new session 2011-12 for all the meritorious students of B.Tech/B.Pharma/MBA 1st Year entrants to fulfill the following elibigility criteria :
Scheme A : Scholarship on the basis of AIEEE rank/percentage marks in PCM in 10+2.
All the students of B.Tech and B.Pharma first year of batch 2011-12 seeking admisison in any of the stream (EEE,ECE,CSE,IT,ME,CE and Pharmacy) in any CT Institutes (CTIEMT,CTIT,CTIPS) will be awarded a scholarhip upto 100% tuition fee waiver based on their AIEEE rank/percentage marks in PCM in 10+2. The details of the same are as follow :
AIEEE rank upto 20,000
Or
PCM marks of 90% & above in 12th |
100% tuition fee waiver upto 8th Semester |
AIEEE rank ranging between 20,000 & 40,000
Or
PCM marks of 85% & above in 12th |
50% tuition fee waiver upto 8th Semester |
AIEEE rank ranging between 40,000 & 60,000
Or
PCM marks of 80% & above in 12th |
25% tuition fee waiver upto 8th Semester |
The Management had been further pleased to decide the reduction in Management Quota from 33% to 15% and thus put the 18% seats to the pool of General Category.
Scheme B : Laptop at Entry Level
Due to extensive use of IT facilities and e-resources required by students during their studies, all incoming students will be expected to have their own laptop computer which would enable them to access e-resources from anywhere.
All students of MBA 1st Year of batch (2011-12) seeking admission in any of the Constituent Institutes (CTIMIT, CTIAMS, CTIMS, CTIEMT,CTIT) will be awarded scholarship in the form of Laptop if the student has secured high Rank in MET/CAT and/or good academic record at graduation level.
Scheme C : Scholarship for academically brilliant students base on the result of PTU Examination Scholarship of Rs. 5,000/- per semester for AICTE approved degree programmes and Rs. 2500/- for Non AICTE programme / Diploma affiliated with PTU/ SBTE/NCHM/PSTB/IT will be continued to be given to one Topper student having secured 80% or above in the University /Board Examination and amongst all the Departments of all the Constituent institute of the CT Group.
Notes :
- The list of successful students under Scheme A will be declared after admission process of Batch 2011-12 is completed.
- Laptop under Scheme B will be awarded during the Second Semester of MBA first year students( batch 2011-12)after registration. During the period of the study of the student at the Institute, the laptop will continue to be on lease to the student till he/she passes out and shall be subject to regular monitoring/inspection. Thereafter, it will be transferred permanently in record to the concerned student.
