To honor and reward the students of CT Group of Institutions, who have bagged merit positions in the PTU Exams, a Felicitation Ceremony was held at the Shahpur Campus of the Group. Awards amounting to over Rs 2.75 lacs were given to the students by Honorable Vice Chancellor, PTU, Dr. Rajneesh Arora. This is to mention that keeping the tradition of securing merit positions in PTU exams alive, CT students have once again bagged merit positions in the final exams. The performance cuts across various streams , wherein the students have brought accolades to CT Group by securing the top slots in Engineering, Computer Applications, Diploma Engineering, Hotel Management, Management, Pharmacy and Airlines and Tourism Management. Every year PTU declares a list of Top 10 merit positions in every discipline and this year CT students of B. Tech 4th semester have the honor of having bagged coveted seven positions in the merit list.



This is being seen as an interesting development, because of the number of positions secured coupled with the spread of the students over different domains, starting from Pharmacy to Airlines and Tourism Management. This multi domain achievement is in synchronization with the objectives of the group.

S. Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman, CT Group of Institutions, Managing Director Mr. Manbir Singh , directors and principals of all the colleges of CT Group of Institutions welcomed the Honorable Vice Chancellor. Students and faculty were also present. Students were in a jubilant mood, enjoying the event which began by the invocation of Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of Learning, by a classical dance performed by students of CT Group.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Rajnish Arora said," The parents should encourage and motivate their wards towards the choice of a profession where they are the job givers and not always job seeker.".

Dr. Manoj Kumar, Group Director, CT Group of Institutions congratulated the meritorious students. He said "we provide congenial environment for studies to the students and this is the result of the efforts of our faculty which has resulted in distinguished achievement of our students". He further added" the number of merit positions is growing considerably and I hope that it will keep growing in future also. We award scholarships to our meritorious students in order to encourage the merit".

Amit Thakur, a student of B.Tech EEE 4th Sem, who has secured 1st position in the university said, "I owe my success to my respected teachers who guided me to strive my best. However, this is just the beginning and I would continue to do my best to achieve the goals in future also."

S. Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman CT Group of Institutions shared his contentment on the developments and said, "Academic champions not only bring accolades to the institution but also act as a source of inspiration for the juniors to excel in life. This also generates a feeling of self esteem and accomplishment for the respective teachers." He thanked the honorable VC for having graced the occasion.
